2. Financial Data Handling
Information regarding "Loss Amounts" and scam entities is collected solely for the purpose of asset tracing and recovery analysis.
3. Technical Metadata
Our servers automatically log IP addresses, browser types, and access times to prevent unauthorized access to the Secure Client Dashboard.
4. Wallet Address Analysis
We collect cryptocurrency wallet addresses provided by the client to perform on-chain forensic tracing.
5. Encryption Standards
All sensitive client data and evidence files are protected using military-grade AES-256 bit encryption.
6. Evidence Vault Storage
Documents such as ID cards and bank statements are stored in an isolated "Evidence Vault" accessible only to assigned investigators.
7. Purpose of Processing
Data is processed to initialize forensic investigations, generate recovery reports, and maintain communication with the client.
8. Third-Party Forensic Tools
We may utilize specialized blockchain analytics software to trace funds; however, no personally identifiable information (PII) is shared with these tool providers.
9. Legal Disclosure Requirements
Global Ledger will only disclose client data to law enforcement agencies if presented with a valid subpoena or if the client explicitly requests it for legal action.
10. Data Retention Schedule
Forensic data is retained for a period of seven years following the conclusion of an investigation to comply with international anti-money laundering (AML) standards.
11. Cookies and Tracking
We use session cookies to maintain your login state on the Staff Console and Client Dashboard.
12. International Data Transfers
As a global firm headquartered in Singapore, your data may be processed across our international operations centers.
13. No Sale of Personal Data
Global Ledger strictly prohibits the sale or lease of client information to third-party marketing firms.
14. Public Ledger Data
You acknowledge that data recorded on the blockchain is immutable. While we protect your PII, we cannot alter data already existing on public ledgers.
15. Client Access Rights
Clients have the right to request a copy of all personal data held by Global Ledger at any time via the Support Portal.
16. Right to Rectification
If you believe the information we hold about your case is inaccurate, you may request an immediate update through your assigned investigator.
17. Right to Erasure (De-identification)
Upon request, we will de-identify your personal data from our internal active databases, subject to legal retention requirements.
18. Cybersecurity Vigilance
We perform regular penetration testing on our systems to ensure the continued integrity of the Global Ledger infrastructure.
19. Changes to this Policy
Global Ledger reserves the right to update this policy. Significant changes will be announced via the Staff Console.
